Swell Energy consolidates its U.S. presence as it grows its virtual power plant pipeline

The rise of distributed energy resources (DERs) and consequent decentralization of power generation is one of the key pillars of the energy transition and a driving force behind power grid innovation. The latter has spurred technical developments that ensure the correct operation of the electrical grid (e.g., constraint management platforms, microgrid controllers) as well as innovative business models that capitalize on the growth of DERs.
